Frequently Asked Questions about VIN Search

 

ERROR MESSAGE EXPLANATION

Our system searches for spare parts specific to commercial vehicle types. If the VIN could not be found, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

 

1. VIN is incomplete. Make sure the VIN has 17 characters.

The VIN is incomplete or contains an error. 

Make sure all 17 characters are entered correctly – no spaces or typos.

 

2. VIN not found in catalog. We currently do not offer parts for this vehicle.

Your vehicle is currently not supported.
 
The search is technically limited to selected brands and models for which we actually offer spare parts. If your vehicle is not among the supported brands (e.g. a passenger car), the catalogue will not be available.

 

3. VIN could not be found. Parts for your vehicle are available in our offer. Search the e-shop or contact us.

The vehicle is supported, but not yet listed in the catalog.

It could be a newer model not yet included in the current catalog version. Our catalog is updated regularly – try again later or contact us to check availability.

4. What is a VIN and where can I find it?

The VIN is a 17-character vehicle identification number. You can find it in the vehicle registration document, under the windshield, or on the vehicle’s body.

 

5. Is registration on aubiri.eu required?

No. This tool is temporarily available to all customers without registration as a birthday gift from AUBIRI. However, if you register, you’ll gain access to order history and registration discounts.

 

6. Is the VIN search system free to use?

Yes, this feature is completely free for all Aubiri customers to use.

 

7. How does the system work?

Enter the 17-character VIN into the search box. If the vehicle is in our database, the system will identify the parameters and display compatible parts. Go to the Step-by-Step VIN Search Guide. 

 

8. Can I trust the accuracy of the parts?

es. The system only displays spare parts that are technically compatible with your vehicle, based on official supplier data and diagrams – so you can be sure you're choosing the right one. Each part includes detailed technical information and placement. Still not sure? Our team will be happy to help you double-check of right parts.

 

9. Can I order the spare part directly from the catalog?

Yes. You can add the selected part to the cart and complete the purchase as usual.

 

10. Can I search by license plate number?

No. The search only works with the VIN code.

 

11. What if I enter a VIN for a vehicle you don’t support?

The system doesn’t recognize this vehicle. The VIN search works only for vehicles that are already in our database.

 

12. Which devices support the VIN search?

The VIN search works on all standard devices – computer, tablet and mobile.
